AirAsia sees encouraging response from carnival in Kuching

KUCHING: AirAsia Bhd (AirAsia) saw encouraging feedback from participating in the Jom Heboh Carnival here in Kuching over the weekend.

According to AirAsia chief executive officer Aireen Omar, this carnival presented a great opportunity for her and the AirAsia team to be on ground and meet guests instead of just meeting them on board.

“Being on the ground with them has enabled us to listen to our guests, learn from them and I personally was very happy to be in Kuching to meet everyone,” she enthused to The Borneo Post.

“We had our FUN Team from the Flight Attendant Department conduct activities as well as flight attendant recruitment drive, in which we received overwhelming response. We are very encouraged by the support towards AirAsia in Kuching and we look forward to more engagements with our guests in the future.”

A representative from AirAsia Bhd Communications Department meanwhile added, “It was a ‘shoulder-to-shoulder’ affair at our sales booth, especially on Sunday where members of the public, who came the previous day to enquire about our fares, returned to book flights with us.
