MIRI: Everything is ready for Borneo Jazz Festival to be held May 13-14 at ParkCity Everly Hotel here.
Sarawak Tourism Board’s corporate communications director Angelina Patricia Bateman said yesterday that the festival would have eight jazz bands with four bands performing each night. Earlier, she conducted an inspection of the festival venue.
The bands are Raw Earth from Singapore, Klazz Brothers and Cuba Percussion from Germany/Cuba, Yuichiro Tokuda’s Ralyzzdig from Japan, Manou Gallo Groove Orchestra from Belgium and Ivory Coast and O Sister! from Spain.
“Also joining in will be Funkatorie from Malaysia, A.P.I from Malaysia and India and the Rad Trads from New York, USA”.
